The JavaServletHosting.com Data Center (DC) is connected to the Internet through multiple direct private gigabit Ethernet backbones from Telia (supplying 402 peers), PCCW-BTN (supplying 341 peers), Global Crossing (supplying 738 peers) and Savvis/Cable & Wireless (supplying 546 peers) for primary traffic, a 10 gigabit connection to Cogent (supplying 1209 peers) and a second gigabit connection to Telia for lower-priority secondary traffic, as well as a supplemental gigabit Ethernet connection to the Atlanta Internet Exchange (AIX) public peering point supplying 12 additional providers, including Earthlink, Cox Communications and Georgia Tech. If all redundant peers are removed, we have more than 2700 unique peers via our direct gigabit Ethernet connections.
